george w bush

i am sick and tired of people calling our president names like "lame duck" and such. he has become the butt of every joke and it pisses me off!

has he shown himself to be less than perfectly presidential? yes.
has he made decisions that we do not agree with? yes.
is he still the president of the best country and leader of the free world? yes, yes, yes!!!

last time i checked it took a majority of americans to vote in this president twice. we all voted him in for a reason. do we forget that if our president is truly an idiot then so is over half of the nation? if this is true then we better hang up our hats and join the socialists because we don't think our democracy worked correctly.

i will be the first to say our country is not in a perfect place, but i do believe that a big part of that problem is our fat baby whining and complaining, cnn, and how quickly we forget our own responsibility.

by the way, obama, biden and mccain have a lower approval rating as senators than george w. bush...and sarah palin has a higher rating than all of them put together.

so be done with it. he's gone in just a few short months and we may be wishing he was back before the end.

The Left has been working hard for nearly eight years to undermine and marginalize this President and have largely succeeded in their efforts. This morning, Barney Frank was commenting that the need to interrupt his meetings w/Paulson and Bernacke for a "presidential photo-op" was a distraction that would be difficult to bear. I don't know about you, but I know that I didn't vote Barney Frank King of the Economy.

I agree. President Bush has had undeserved invective hurled his way from day one of his term. I don't know how he manages to get up every day and do his job.

Imagine how much he could've accomplished had he had fair and balanced media support.

fj: You mean Barney "Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae are fine" Frank?
What a hypocrite.

Yes, Barney, "No there's no gay prostitution ring being run out of my condo," Frank.

MM..came over from Papa Franks, and I am pleasantly surprised! :)

Yes, Bush has been blamed for everything wrong in the world, including bad weather, and is one of the most hated people in the world...now, it will be Sarah Palin

The far left radicals, and anarchists, won't be satisfied until they completely bring this country down.

Jan-That's the idea!
MM-Lame duck goes back a long way, it just describes a president in the last half of his second term. Nothing really insulting, except if it is said in an insulting manner...which the dhimmicrats can and will do!
Now I am greatly disappointed by many of the things Bush has had a hand in, anything about dividing Israel infuriates me, but, insulting the leader of your country doesn't speak well of your character!
But, do dhimmicrats HAVE any?

MM, it seems to me that Bush just rubs liberals wrong with his in-your-face personality. He's never been one to back down. He's unapologetic about his faith, his military actions, and all of his other policies. He even offends many conservatives with this semi-rebellious attitude. (I can relate to him somewhat. ;-)
I've always admired him for not governing according to polls, but like you, I have been disappointed in some of his decisions. I think that his presidency will be smiled upon in years to come. The liberal media may have their say now, but history will prove otherwise.

I admire a lot about Mr. Bush (i have a marine friend stationed IN the WH for the last 2 years and he thinks the Bushes are 2 of the nicest, most wonderful people he's EVER met), but I've been less than happy with a LOT of things Bush has done, but I think history (if we have one!) will look kindly on him.....
especially if Obama gets in.

Now I have a headache!
